Hurricane Katrina Recovery Program

This program is designed to empower the Blacks and the poor in New Orleans economically. In this program, we're looking to raise between $25-$50 million dollars in order to invest in a vital infrastructure. This infrastructure will generate an adequate amount of revenue that will be used as capital for the acquisition of many of the major revenue-generating businesses in the Black community.

These acquisitions will help create high-paying jobs that will guarantee the highest level of quality and service within the community.

The revenue generated from these businesses will go into distribution of zero-interest (0%) loans to residents that desire to rebuild their homes. This will expedite the rebuilding process in New Orleans.

The revenue generated from the acquisitions will also be directed towards further investment in the infrastructure.

The goal of this program is to create a community capital fund that will give the community control of major revenue-generating businesses that are within the community and to create high-paying jobs for the community by focusing on the quality of goods and services.

The root cause of the higher cost of living in New Orleans is due to the "scarcity of homes". Once the rebuilding process is expedited, the cost of living will go down while the income levels of the community stay at its present level. This will not only "enrich" the community, but the fact that this capitalization fund is owned by the community, the community will finally have control of its own destiny.
Black Farmers Empowerment Program

This program is designed to make farming a profitable venture again.

Many Black farmers are struggling due to discrimination by the USDA, farm banks, and unjust laws. They have trouble getting loans and capitalization for their farming needs.

We, at MGE19, are offering an alternative to traditional capitalization. We are looking to receive capitalization from the African Union in order to help qualifying Black farmers get "up to par" with their farming needs.

Once these needs are met, we will help set up trade agreements between the Black farmers and public and private buyers that generate revenue for the farmers and produce ROI for investors in the AU. To learn more go to http://www.mge19.com/BF/BFC.ppt.
